PartnerCommunity began operation in January 2000 as a unit of Daleen Technologies , Inc. (Nasdaq: DALN), a global provider of software that manages the revenue chain for next-generation service providers. In June 2000, it became a separate company with initial investment from Daleen.

In September 2000, we released our first partner management services and announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft . In October, we signed our first customers. In January 2001, we released the second generation of our services and announced a strategic partnership with Extricity.

In 2001, we refocused our effort from enabling a public community of service providers to enabling service providers to build their own private communities with their customers and partners using our products. In September, we released our Electronic Bonding Appliance (EBA), an integration appliance that not only cuts the integration cycle time by more than 75% but also eliminates a significant portion of maintenance and support costs associated with traditional integration approaches. By October 2001, we had deployed our solutions to allow a tier 1, global communication carrier to receive electronic orders, in XML format, for telecom services directly from its large enterprise customers.

In 2002, our solution was officially certified by a tier 1, global communication carrier for bonding with its customers electronically. In June, a group of investors acquired Daleen's equity ownership in PartnerCommunity and provided additional funding for the company.

By 2005, we have become the preferred solution provider for tier-1 carriers to e-bond with their customers. Our EBA solution is at its third generation and has been deployed for many large enterprise and government customers of these carriers.
